Our Mission

At Gold Standard Pipeline, we serve private and public entities in commercial, industrial, residential, and institutional developments. As your premier sub-contractor, we install sewer, water, fire line, storm drain, and other storm drain structure systems for any contractor or developer. We also provide vacuum utility potholing and private utility locating services, known as subsurface utility engineering (SUE), to keep utility lines, workers, and project sites safer.

Donald Erik Hauge — Founder and President

Born and raised in Norway, Donald Erik Hauge brought his ambition, technical expertise, and commitment to excellence to the United States in the late 1980s to pursue a master’s degree in hydraulic engineering. In 1991, he turned his vision into reality by founding Gold Standard Pipeline LLC, building a company on the principles of quality workmanship, integrity, and reliability.

For more than three decades, Donald has led Gold Standard Pipeline with a steadfast commitment to doing the job right. Under his leadership, the company has established a strong reputation in underground wet utility construction, serving communities and projects across Tennessee and Connecticut.

His leadership philosophy is rooted in determination, professionalism, and attention to detail. He believes that a company’s success is measured not only by the projects it completes, but also by the relationships it builds, the people it empowers, and the standards it maintains.
